Strays found in the northern or northeastern part of Snohomish County should go to the Everett Animal Shelter.

If you don't find a shelter listed, call information and see if there is an animal shelter in your area. If that doesn't work, call the local police or sheriff's department and ask where they take stray animals. In some areas, it may be necessary to call 911 to obtain information about where to take a stray animal. Be sure to indicate it is a non-emergency.
